The integrated 120V dedicated-use receptacle is designed to power the Coolmate 1.3 cooling system.

The Dynasty power switch also controls the receptacle, helping coordinate cooler operation and providing additional protection against torch-related issues.

Auto-Line Power Management Technology

Miller’s Auto-Line Power Management Technology allows the Dynasty 280 DX to operate from either single-phase or three-phase input power from 208–575V without manual linking.

This provides exceptional flexibility when moving the welder between different electrical environments and helps accommodate variable or less-than-ideal input power conditions.

• Adaptive Hot Start: Provides reliable arc starts while helping reduce electrode sticking.
• Stick-Stuck Detection: Detects when an electrode becomes stuck and can automatically shut off welding output for safer and easier electrode removal.
